Unity ToyNgoc Nguyen

Unity holds a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine and an M.D. degree from the University of California-San Francisco, and is a practicing resident physician in Hilo, Hawaii.

She is also an accomplished musician, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, blending ancient Vietnamese and African folk traditions, and interweaving them with jazz, funk, and other recent global influences.
